1 — How long does delivery take and what shipping options are available? We process orders Monday to Friday within 48 hours. Two shipping options are available:
DHL Express: Europe & USA 2–3 business days — Worldwide 3–7 business days Standard Shipping: Europe 10–15 business days
Shipping costs are based on weight, size, and destination.

3 — Can I return my rug and will I get my shipping costs refunded? Yes! You have 14 days from the moment you receive your order to request a return. In the event of a return, we will refund the full purchase price — including the original shipping costs. Your satisfaction is our priority.
4 — Can I visit your atelier and witness the rugs being handcrafted in person? Yes, absolutely! We warmly invite you to visit our atelier in the Atlas Mountains and experience firsthand how our artisans hand-knot every rug with love and precision. 5 — Are your rugs really handmade? Yes — absolutely! Every Aurelia rug is hand-knotted by experienced Berber artisans in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. No machines, no compromises. Slight irregularities in color and pattern are not flaws — they are proof of genuine craftsmanship and make every piece a true one-of-a-kind.
6 — What material are your rugs made from? Our rugs are made exclusively from 100% pure natural wool. The wool comes from sheep that graze in the cool highlands of the Atlas Mountains. It is completely natural, chemical-free, soft, warm, and exceptionally durable.
7 — Can I order a rug in a custom size or design? Yes! We offer custom-made rugs tailored to your exact specifications. Size, color, pattern — anything is possible. Simply contact us at info@aureliateppiche.de and we will be happy to create a personalized quote for you.
8 — How do I care for my Aurelia rug properly? For a long-lasting rug, we recommend the following care tips:
- Vacuum regularly and gently — against the direction of the pile
- Blot spills immediately with a damp cloth — do not rub
- Professional rug cleaning recommended once a year
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight
9 — How long does it take to make a custom rug? Production time depends on the size and complexity of the pattern. On average, a custom rug takes between 3 and 6 weeks to complete. You will be kept informed of the progress throughout the entire process.
10 — Is shipping really free? Yes! We deliver all our rugs free of charge — worldwide. No hidden shipping costs, no surprises. The price you see is the price you pay.
